The Children of Húrin by J.R.R. Tolkien

3.0

New Tolkien read by Christopher Lee? What's not to like? Honestly, as someone who read The Silmarillion more than a decade ago, the beginning was hard going. When Tolkien finally gets to the narrative of Turin, it gets a bit better. But again, honestly, if it was anyone else writing the way Tolkien does, few would read this. The epic style takes a true fan to like. But, nevertheless, a nice return to Middle-Earth.
