A fun, laid-back crunchy book, refreshing amidst an ocean of “you have to be perfectly crunchy to be healthy”. I love the way that Emily Morrow (and her husband) work to bridge the gap between crunchy people and silky people through comedy, poking fun at both sides, and I love watching their sketches.

I listened to the audiobook version, but I still found it very well-organized and easy to follow. I consider myself pretty crunchy, but I was still able to learn a lot. I was also reminded of the importance of letting things go when peak crunchiness just isn’t a realistic goal.

This book seems to have parents in mind as the target audience, but most of the chapters are relevant to whoever. A great read no matter where you find yourself on the crunchy spectrum, and no matter how long you’ve been on the journey of a more natural approach to life and wellness.
