This book was ok... I really disliked the husband, he was such a dick right from the beginning. The whole cast of characters was actually pretty unlikable. I get what the author was going for with all the trauma from the past, but when all the characters are unlikable, it's harder to enjoy the story.

The story itself was pretty predictable as well. The authors last book was much better. This could be a one-off so I'll definitely check out other books that come later from this author.
