I don't know when I first read this book or watched the cartoons based on Beatrix Potter's books. I love them. I loved them as a child for how cute they were and how whimsical the characters are.
As an adult, I found out Beatrix was a respected mycologist and wildlife illustrator. Now I love this book even more.
