Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain
3.0
This book would have been so helpful to me as a child or young adult, but by the time I got to it, I have had years of therapy and online quizzes and other experiences that have already pretty fully explained my strong introversion and highly sensitive personality to myself. I also think that in the years following this book’s release, more and more adults (especially those cultured to be women), are realizing that labels like autism and/or adhd also fit them, and that masking isn’t just for introverts living in a world that celebrates and rewards extroverts. This book is a good place to start.
