All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover

4.0

Another Colleen Hoover book ticked off my physical TBR. I was really looking forward to getting into this book after reading the synopsis. It was a pretty quick read for me, it's not a very lengthy book. But as for the content, it was a tough and emotional story to read. I recommend proceeding with caution if infertility is something that personally affects you. To think of it, I've actually never read a fiction book that concentrates on this issue.
In my opinion it was quite a one dimensional take. For example there was minimal pressure from family members? I also would have preferred a dual POV between Quinn and Graham, rather than the 'Then' and 'Now' chapters. I think Graham's true point of view would have significantly added value to the story. I felt like the flashbacks to the beginnings of the relationship didn't solidify the plot, it was sweet but there wasn't much depth there.
I just enjoy Hoover's writing style so much, she makes me feel ALL the emotions. I get lost in her books and am guaranteed to cry at some point during each one. So now it's time to decide on my next CoHo read...
