This book messed with my head so much.

Overall, it was a fun read. Definitely a bit dark, and quite mysterious. The descriptions featured on the front and back of the book itself are not at all how I would describe it. This story is not "atmospheric." It's more of a gaslighty, creepy thriller type.

The writing itself was lovely. I can tell the author put a lot of thought into every sentence, and that is something I can appreciate.

All that being said, the story itself isn't the best I've ever read, but once I got into it, it was difficult to put down. The ending wasn't totally what I wanted or expected, but the book, as a whole, held my attention enough that small details I disliked were of little consequence. This is really the type of book that cannot be put into words. It's just weird. Enjoy at your own risk.
