This book is phenomenal in general, but to be a debut?! Unreal. The world building is phenomenal, I absolutely loved the inclusion of people from different realms coming together while also pointing out just how different the “modern” world Ella is from is from everything else. 

I also really appreciated the fact that Ella is like…low key incredibly badass before she even gets thrown into the Astral Realm? Like she’s a black belt you guys, girlie knows how to fight. She’s smart. She’s kind. She is who we all want to be or be besties with. And she is flawlessly balanced by Rhea, her actual bestie (since it couldn’t be me) in the Astral Realm. Rhea is fierce and always up for a good time and helps Ella to get out of her shell a bit.

And don’t get me started on Ethan and Cole - like don’t get me started on these two beautiful, magical, strong, handsome men. Don’t get me started.

Dream Walker is a gorgeously written, magical, coming of age tale that fans of Harry Potter and Fourth Wing will absolutely devour. It comes out tomorrow, July 2 and you can preorder now! So go get yours, the Astral Realm is waiting.
