Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger

3.0

Ok, so this one is a little hard for me to review.

Elatsoe had moments that completely pulled me in. I was hooked and invested in where the story was going. But there were other times when it felt like the pacing slowed way down, and I struggled to stay engaged.

Some of Elatsoe’s dialogue felt a bit forced or unnecessary, which pulled me out of the story here and there. But overall? I enjoyed the storyline. The blend of mystery, Indigenous culture, and supernatural elements was unique, and I’m glad I picked it up.
