So first of all, this book is similar to Stalking Jack the Ripper, but at the same time, it isn't. To me, the writing style or tone was different. I loved that it was in first person like SJtR, but I think it would've served Maniscalco well to do it from Wrath's POV at some points. SJtR's writing is dark and delicious. This one . . . it left me wanting something darker. But I must say, Maniscalco followed the same type of steamy romance in SJtR. Emilia and Wrath are
