I just finished this book and overall it was ok. In the end though, nothing was ever particularly scary to read and the pacing of the second half threw me off. I think if the ending was different I might have given this half a star more, but it just seemed rushed and certain details seemed to be added simply for shock value (trying not to spoil the end of the book). Overall, this book didn’t really impress me and would have been rated lower if it wasn’t for the addition of Isaak the dog; who was my favourite part of this story
