I really liked the story and characters. It was a fun read. But the best pacing in this series still goes to Romancing the duke. The characters were a lot more vivid and the humour was a lot better as well. Of course, I still loved Say yes to the marquess and When a Scot ties the knot, but after the first book, they felt a small bit like a downgrade.
