First read this in school and had to write a ridiculously long paper on it and that always kind of kills the joy of reading a book for me. I decided it was time to give it a try again since it’s been over 10 years but it still didn’t really do it for me. It is an interesting story and definitely a classic for a reason but it’s just not a book that brings me joy when I read it.
