This book was formatted differently than the first. There was less of a look into the celestial realm - the Brothers and the Sisters of Fate - than there was with book one (and a good reason for why this was done). Once this connection was made again, however, I held on tightly for the ride, unable to put the book down. The story seemed to resolve well and yet leave enough questions unanswered to keep us readers wanting to know more about who Alyssa is and what she's capable of.
