Decisive: How to Make Better Choices in Life and Work by Chip Heath, Dan Heath
4.0
Disclaimer: The version I read was an advance copy unedited proof. That being said, the introduction and the first chapter took me FOREVER to get through. Once I got further in though, this book has a wealth of helpful information. I don't think I've ever underlined or dog-eared as much as I have with this book. As someone who learns and retains better with visual or hands on examples, this book does well for that. They don't just explain the process, they give detailed real life examples of real individuals who used (or failed to use) each of the steps. And how each of those examples played out. As well as a few training clinics at the end for practice. While most of these were business or corporate related situations, there were enough personal level situations to help me see how each step could be relevant in my own life. Well worth the read for someone who routinely suffers from indecision (myself) or poor decision making.
