Struberville: Consequences of Isolation by Monte Dwyer

4.0

Wow is all I can say. Due to the writing style Monte Dwyer this book is a real page turner and very hard to put down once you start. I was luck I got to meet Monte and got the book signed by him. This book looks at a murder in remote Northern Queensland and the trail verdict of the case. It was interesting reading about what it takes for a murder trail to take place in Australia and in particular Queensland. I say the jury got it right. I just can't imagine how the family is moving on from this (read the book to find out what I mean). This real story also looks into the communities and people that live in this remote environment. If I am ever thinking to take a gazetted road through a pastoral lease I am asking the locals first if it a good idea. Though think about it I will stick to the highways. I highly recommended this book to those that like real crime stories.
