If you are looking for a single dad, teacher/parent relationship and sports romance that is quick to read and full of found family moments this book is what you are looking for.

This book was super cute and quick to read. Henley and Tru bumped into each other at a grocery store and sparks were instantly flying for both of them. Since Henley’s divorce he hasn’t felt a spark like he did with Tru. However, Tru and Henley start off on the wrong foot but no worries Henley does what he can to apologize and show that’s not him and he wants to get to know Tru.

I am going to start with I loved the co-parenting relationship Bree and Henley had. There was no drama and both wanted what was best for their children.

I loved how Henley, Bree and Tru considered the children and their feelings/emotions throughout the book. It was so important to include them and I loved seeing it! I loved how Bree was supportive with Henley moving forward with Tru and how welcoming the kids were of her once they knew about the relationship.

We can’t forget the single dad playbook club moments! I loved seeing all the men get together and read their entries into the book. These moments had you smiling, swooning and going through the emotions with them.

I loved how when Henley had something happen to him everyone rallied around him to help him even when he didn’t want it but needed a little push.

I am super intrigued for Ellie and Rhodes book based off how this book ended and the sneak peak into their book.

Thank you to Valentine Pr for the arc of this book
