The Goddess Inheritance by Aimée Carter

4.0

What it's about: The final book in the Goddess series. The final battle.

What I thought: The perfect ending to the perfect series.

At the end of The Goddess Interrupted, we were left with the killer cliff-hanger - Kate is pregnant, and Calliope has kidnapped her. Now we come in almost 9 months after that end. Kate is almost ready to have her baby, while still in Calliope's clutches, and the Gods are getting ready for a war with Cronus. Anything goes in The Goddess Inheritance, and unlikely twists abound. This book has everything. Old characters, new characters, action, heart-ache and love. Plus you won't believe what happens at the end - I certainly didn't!

This book kept me up late into the wee hours in the morning, because I literally could not put it down. I was anxious to know everything, all at once, and had to constantly slow myself down so as to not miss out on any of the awesome. You're in for a real treat for the finale book in this wonderful series, and I'm really sad to see it end.

What I would love to see now, is a spin-off series about James! Pretty please?!

The Good: Everything was wrapped up beautifully. While it wasn't completely the 'perfect ending' per se, I enjoyed it so much.

The Bad: Kate Winters, why must you be so annoying? Quit your whining.
