I think I'd probably give the book a 2.5. It was contrived and Mrs. Marple needs someone to knock her down a peg or two but I read with a group of people and the experience was definitely 5 stars so that's how this book got a 3. If I'd read it by myself, instead of rounding up, I would have rounded down.
