The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan

5.0

I have waited an absurd amount of time to read this book. The title spoke to me immediately but unfortunately my local library only stocked the other Hogan novels and not her debut. I had a chance to buy a copy of the book when I was in London in January but alas, it wasn't the right cover. Yes, I have problems...
I was afraid my expectations were too high, after such a long time, but I can now safely say that Hogan just writes books that fulfill my needs: humour, a little bit of magic/paranormal activity, London (or its surroundings), dual storylines, lovable characters and a dog (although I don't remember if all her other stories have dogs in them as well). It might be predictable but that's the way my brain likes it. Happy endings for everyone!
