Brigid Kemmerer's books have easily become some of my favorites—and this one truly was incredible. I loved the new introduction of characters like Jax and Callyn and it was so great to see Tycho all grown.   I thought Kemmerer really expanded her world of Emberfall and Syl Shallow while also creating the new space in Briarlock. I was so invested in the story and I couldn't stop reading. There was a ton of action and a lot of tense moments that I was on the edge of my seat for. I thought the friendships were so well done and I loved the new love stories we got in this world. I cannot wait for a sequel because I know it's going to be even more intense. I loved this book so much and I'm so excited for what's next. These characters need to be protected at all costs!!
