I found it hard to get into this book because the characters were so flat. It just felt like they were there? In the background? But nothing more??? Even Ben was annoying and kinda boring. Obviously they were having a hard time but the story never really interested me because of the way it was written. I’m so sad for everyone who has ever found themselves in a similar situation so I hope I don’t sound insensitive but this book just didn’t do it for me. And I think I’m getting too old to read about high schoolers
