This was a very fun mystery! It was my first Murder She Wrote (book OR episode) and I'm not sure if they're all as educational as this. If you are familiar with Hawaiian culture and customs this might seem tedious, but I found it helpful, and it seemed to have some good non-colonialist representation (of course, not being Hawaiian, I might be wrong, and am happy to be corrected). The only thing I didn't like was Jessica's near-constant apologies for an overly-friendly man throughout the book.
