I usually enjoy Kiersten Modglin's books because they are always twisty and short enough to keep my attention. This one, I was ready for it to end. Which says a lot because the audiobook is just under 6 hours. Maybe it was because I did listen to the audiobook instead of reading it. The narrator was fine but it was a very dramatic reading. I suppose that was on theme with the book.
Not my favorite and wouldn't be the first book I'd recommend by this author.
