This was such a fun book, even with murder involved. I hadn't read a mystery/thriller in a while and this was campy and fun enough to make me forget I was reading about the mob. I loved Finlay and Vero as a duo and I'm so glad that Vero is a bigger part of the story. The mystery was fun but also had me on my toes for the duration of the book. I liked that Finlay was an author, it was kind of like its own little meta verse. I couldn't believe I was reading and actually laughing out loud with this type of book. The characters were done so well and I thought the writing was so engaging and interesting. I'm super excited to read more of this series!
