The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons

5.0

This book took me FOREVER to get immersed in, but I'm glad it finally snagged me.. Hook, link, and sinker. The story of Alexander and Tatiana is not just a story of love, but of survival, strategy, and courage. Before their love can flourish, they have to overcome the struggles and tragedies of a world war. All around them is death and destruction and it becomes a LOT for even the reader to tackle. The 810 pages ripped my heart right out. It's 4:10am and I'm mentally drained from this installment of their journey. I'm hoping that I have a more coherent opinion of their tale once I finish the trilogy, so be patient with me until I'm done for good!
