Such a great book to read aloud! My nine year old found this a wonderfully interesting story and wished that she too could spend the summer living in a cave with her best friend and learn to ride wild horses. The story has emotional highs and lows and some parts made us both laugh out loud. As usual, Astrid Lindgren's writing still holds its magic after all these years.
