Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

This really blew me away. I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did, staying up until 3am to finish it all the way. All the characters were so rich and interesting and touched my heart in different ways. It had me laughing and scratching my head, wondering if I knew what was going on or not. A bit of a mystery, even though there wasn't really a crime that had occurred, which makes it even more interesting of a story.

I know a lot of people really hate this style of storytelling, but I loved it. Something about getting those little crumbs of new information and then falling back to see how it fits into the narrative correctly and how you think you've got the right info but actually it's wrong... ugh, it just makes for amazing writing.

And such a great space for addressing relationships in different stages and working on yourself, dealing with mental health, how lost you can get when things spin out of control and the mistakes people can make that can wholly change the trajectory of one's life. *chef's kiss*

I listened to the audiobook, which was absolutely delightful and I would recommend it to everyone.
