I wasn't sure what I was getting when I went into this. I guesses this was loosely based on Frankenstein and had some horror elements.
This was a bit slow at the beginning. There was a lot of set up to do, especially when it came to explaining plants. This is found a bit boring but I stuck with it as I guessed it was going to be important.
I did like the characters and I thought they worked well together. I did like how they kinda swapped thoughts about CHOLE, the maker realising she was dangerous and the other accepting her into the family.
The thing that really put me off was a certain relationship, no spoilers her. One chapter I almost skipped as I was just like urrrghhh. It also really confused me how this relationship came into being.
I also didn't really get much of the horror aspect. I know it was there and the author tried, but I wouldn't call what he wrote horror.
