This created a fascinating story that made me want to keep listening as I neared the end of this one so I had to get the other two audiobooks just so I could continue on. I would say it's weakest part is the opening and that's perhaps because of my own issues, but I found the young, naive protagonist hard to like at first. He just seemed too obtuse and stubborn so I was annoyed with him, but found the world interesting that I kept on. As the character grew, it definitely changed that perception .
