Ok, but this book. This was the cutest little holiday story. I was not expecting the story to basically be a take on ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ and I was so excited once I realized this. Storee and Cole were just yes. The way Storee was able to help Cole through some shit and still let him take it at the pace he wanted really just warmed my heart. Watching these 2 banter was so much fun. The banter between the narrator and Cole always had me giggling. You also fall in love with the whole town and the people that are in it. It was hard not to. Everyone loves them some Christmas competition. Cole and Storee both just growing and knocking down walls with the help of each other was one of my favorite things about this book. These 2 both needed to find each other again after 10 years of not being together and once they did it was magic. Was this a cheesey ass book? 100%. But to me holiday books are supposed to be cheesey. I will be back next year to visit this little town again. ♥️
