Brown Girl in the Ring by Nalo Hopkinson
4.0
I read this book with my book club in July. This book has a clever and amazing take on generational traumas, reparations, and Caribbean lore. What I connected to the most was the novel’s very real depiction of three generations of women struggling to understand one another. I felt seen in so many way reading this story.
