i almost didn't read this book because of reviews, and i'm glad i read it! if you're ok with the style in which the original Sherlock Holmes were written, you will enjoy this. this novel didn't make me feel things, but it was entertaining and often very funny. i felt like by the end of it the author really got the hang of the style, so i wish there was a sequel for me to pick up!
