someone returned this at the store today because they said it was too creepy to give to their 6 year old niece and described it as if A24 made a children’s book, so obviously i had to read it. and like, yeah, fair, but also it was very cool, the illustrations were beautiful, and it was a perfect little story for people who are itching for something magical and weird to happen to them
