African Samurai: The True Story of Yasuke, a Legendary Black Warrior in Feudal Japan by Thomas Lockley

2.0

This took me all of 2024 to finish. Weirdly edited and written like a dry lecture trying to inject some pizzazz into itself. While it was all conjecture (because there is very little information about Yasuke), I finished the book feeling like I knew even less about the subject than when I started - and I knew nothing when I started! Two stars because there was some art in the book and that was cool. Will be gifting for a white elephant or dirty santa party.
