Born To Darkness by Suzanne Brockmann
4.0
I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. A definite twist on the dystopia of corruption and superpowers. Clever concepts with a slew of pieces that align just right. Quite the thought-provoking conundrum with Mac's power over/with Shane. And funny jokes (flushing toilet super power!).
Usually when I read a book with more than 1 or 2 main characters I have a hard time truly following all of their story lines, let alone really caring what happens to all of even just most of them.
But it's 2:40 AM, and I am completely sucked into the maelstrom that is the end of this book!
My only complaint/request - the next books in this series better do more satisfactory jobs of telling/wrapping up Elliot/Stephen and Joe/Anna's stories...
