Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen
3.0
Type of read: Commuter Read
What made me pick it up: Part of the Reese's Book Club List.
Overall rating: A she said, she said, that lacks a large amount of depth but still pulls you in. I felt like there was a lot that the author just wanted us to infer or potentially even just make up on our own. There are a few different ways the story continued to spiral and I ended up just finding Ava annoying and, as I previously mentioned, lacking dept. I did enjoy the bit of a twist we find out between part one and part two but it just wasn't enough to save the book for me. 'Counterfeit' wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
