After watching the 2022 movie, I wanted to read a biography to compare true life and fiction. God did this gets so dark and sad at the end. All the people that leeched off him his whole career and none of them put in the effort to help him when he’d gone too far, in case he fired them. To read that near the end he stopped having that passion for music was weirdly the saddest part to me. Also, if you look at the bibliography and read the titles you can just how many of the people around him continue to make money off him, even in his death. He obviously wasn’t perfect and didn’t always treat people as he should, but this biography provided a great insight into his life and events leading up to his death
