True Evil by Greg Iles
5.0
I listened to this book on audio and it was hard to stop listening. I normally listen when I drive and as I got closer to the end I wanted to keep driving. Almost from the beginning, you know who was plotting the murders and how they were done. The only thing missing was proof.
How do you prove that someone was killing by cancer - it was almost foolproof unless you get between an FBI agent and her dead sister's son.
Greg Iles does an amazing job of keeping his readers engaged. You can't put the story down because you NEED to know how it will end. The ending is particularly satisfying and well worth the wait to get there.
The narration on the audio book was great. A good narrator helps the story come to live and in this case he outdid himself in the reading.
