Well…to say I didn’t read the synopsis about the book I was surprised about the content of the book. I didn’t know where this story was going after finding out what the main character is and what happened to her. It really is an interesting and surprising take on vampires written by an older black author. It was my book clubs pick of the month however I really enjoyed it.
