Nicholas Sparks' books always give you a sort of happy ending, even if it isn't in the conventional way. The Best of Me is no different. There's love, happiness, surprises, and definitely some tears throughout. Dawson and Amanda are very likable, their story is sweet, and it just makes you think one of two things (1) what if? or (2) You made the right choice. I'll let you figure out what that means.
