I barely made it a 5th through this book before I had to DNF. I didn’t know the white saviour trope could be this ugly. All I wanted to do was punch every white character in the face, including the entitled brat Skeeter turned out to be. TIL: If you’re looking for a book with Black representation, avoid books written by yt people at all cost.
