How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy by Jenny Odell

As the author is quick to point out, she is not actually advocating for inaction so much as considered action. She's also not advocating for a complete departure from corporate social media, but a less reactive approach to it and every other aspect of life. I really appreciated the focus on bio-regionalism, avoiding context collapse, not getting pushed into binary thinking. I liked listening to her, and found a lot of her ideas affirming in that they line up with practices I've been at least trying to go with. I think I'll listen to it again though, and hopefully catch more about how to go forward. I feel so stuck an individual level right now, and would really appreciate more about how to act politically. Her new book about time sounds good as well.
