This is definitely my favorite of the series so far. Cole and Sutton just worked together so well. They both had trauma to work through, but they did strengthened each other and were so perfect for each other. Also, Cope with Luca?? Oh my god Cope was so good with him and stepping up to be an incredible father figure for him. The moments between those two were so cute 🥹

I switched between the ebook and audiobook and honestly both were so good. I’ve listened to a few audiobooks narrated by Connor Crais as well as Erin Mallon, and they always do a great job bringing the stories to life. 

Catherine Cowles / this series so far is my first time reading the romantic suspense subgenre and I’m realizing it satisfies the parts of me that love both romance books and mystery/thrillers/suspense. I’m someone who loves to try and guess twists and where I think a plot is going to go, so this is right up my alley. I will absolutely be reading more from this author & in this subgenre going forward.
