Dominating the Dragon by Brigid Finn

5.0

This was my first time reading a book by Brigid Finn and to say I am impressed is putting it mildly.

DOMINATING THE DRAGON is a sweet, sensually-spicy tale, set in the steampunk era, where a young brothel employee named Rosalind is sent to the home of Drago Banov, the rich benefactor that has allowed the Brothel Madam to conduct business out of one of his properties after their own location is lost.

Drago suffers from “Affliction”, a condition that renders his features to resemble that of a reptile. Therefore, he spends the majority of his time alone. However, the arrival of Rosalind creates a spark in his eyes as she awakens his spirit and assists him indulging in his submissive side and one of his deepest fantasies: to be sexually dominated by a woman.

Feelings develop and lines get blurred. But Drago houses a secret that could disrupt the peace he has found with Rosalind. Will he and Rosalind work out their differences and have an HEA?

This was one of the best shorts I’ve read in a long time. It was spicy, sweet, and a complete love story within a few pages. This is a fun read that will put you in your feelings. The spice is definitely spicin’ and the erotic scenes between Rosalind and Drago were well-crafted and delivers the reader copious amounts of heat while remaining tasteful. My only complaint is that this story wasn’t longer! I didn’t want it to end!

I am now officially a fan of Brigid Finn and I look forward to reading more of her stories! Well done!

Happy reading!
