Words fail me. A stark look at nationalism across the world and its roots, Coates put the growing dread that comes from living in the now (and unfortunately in the South) into eloquent prose. The blurring of the lines between what was and what will be. From Africa to South Carolina to Palestine, the common thread is the change that’s coming and those that seek to hold it back, from the voices we should have heard long before now.
