I'm gonna upset some fans by saying this, but I LOATHED this book. It was so bad. There's no reason for this book to exist. Nothing happens except for Elayne taking a bunch of baths and a character getting kidnapped on the very final page of the last chapter. This was an awful reading experience. I just started skimming and reading chapter summaries because I couldn't handle it anymore. I seriously considered DNF'ing this series even when I already planned to push through the slog. I'm taking a break. I'll get to Knife of Dreams within the next month or so.
