This cast sings with life and the voice is brimming with teen energy, in all its guts and glory. There is such warmth and care in the handling of queerness (and, I can only assume, USA LatAm culture) that you can't help but want the best for these kids.
The plot more slice of life than I expected, with the murder investigation feeling like an afterthought, and I both predicted and didn't entirely buy the villain. The big moves by our heroes in the end were a great chance to see them shine though. The world is better with books like these in it!
