B.K. Borison's newest release FIRST-TIME CALLER follows Lucie Stone, a young, single mom whose lack of dating life is exposed by her kid on a late-night radio show, and Aiden Valentine, the host of said radio show who gets roped into helping Lucie find love after their interview goes viral. Everyone wants Lucie to find love, Aiden included, but what if the great love Lucie has been looking for is the person who is supposed to help her find someone else?

Reading FIRST-TIME CALLER felt like watching a favorite Nora Ephron rom-com. I absolutely fell in love with this book. Lucie and Aiden are so likable and relatable. Lucie is a secret hopeless romantic. Her initial conversation with Aiden resonated with me in a lot of ways, but especially in the frustrations of never feeling that magic. Aiden is the reluctant romantic, afraid to let anyone in for fear of eventually losing them.

The chemistry once these two meet is undeniable. I love their banter and how they support each other throughout the book. Aiden is the definition of "boy obsessed" and I was also very much obsessed with it. He tries to play it cool, but most definitely does not. He truly cares for Lucie and we see this sweet and romantic side of him slowly emerge.

I'm really excited to see where this series goes (I think I have an idea, and I'm really looking forward to it!). Aiden and Lucie's story to touching and heartwarming - it brought me so much joy (and a few tears, just ask my friends). It's the perfect romance!
