Vampires of El Norte by Isabel Cañas
3.0
I was looking forward to this book, the idea sounded refreshing and engaging. Unfortunately this fell a bit flat for me and the ending was anticlimactic. I just thought the vampires would be....more. They are never really explained either.
On top of that I couldn't stand either of the characters. Nena drove me mad the entire book. She is very stubborn and selfish and when anyone tries to explain anything to her she chooses to ignore them because it's not the way she sees things or not the way she wants to see them. Nestor was....I wanted to like him. At times I did and others he fell flat for me as well.
